A FLOWER ARRANGING WORKSHOP AT VICTORY RANCH, AND WHY YOUR GROUP NEEDS ONE TOO

A FLOWER ARRANGING WORKSHOP AT VICTORY RANCH, AND WHY YOUR GROUP NEEDS ONE TOO

Inside the Victory Ranch Women's Retreat

For the second year in a row, Flower Bar Co. founder and lead floral designer Shawn Bailey had the privilege of teaching a flower-arranging workshop as part of the annual Women's Wellness Retreat at Victory Ranch, one of Utah's most beautiful private club communities nestled in the mountains of Kamas.
It is the kind of invitation we never take for granted.

A Seasonal Bloom Bar, A Room Full of Women & Something Beautiful

Shawn arrived with a full seasonal bloom bar, set and ready for over thirty women to gather around. Fresh garden-style blooms in the warmest seasonal tones filled the table, alongside small low vases and chicken wire supports that would help each guest build a lush, structured arrangement entirely their own.
The workshop began with a brief lesson in the basics: how to prepare your chicken wire support, how to place your focal blooms, how to layer in texture and movement with secondary flowers and foliage. And then something always happens in these classes that reminds us exactly why we do this work.
The women got to work.

When Creativity Takes Over

There is a moment in every group workshop when the instruction fades into the background and the creativity takes over. Watching thirty women work side by side, each one reaching for different blooms, building something completely their own, is one of the most genuinely inspiring experiences we get to witness as florists.
No two arrangements looked alike. Some were tight and lush, overflowing with roses and garden mums. Others were loose and wild, with stems reaching in unexpected directions. Each one was a quiet expression of the person who made it, and every single one was beautiful.
That is the magic of a workshop like this. You do not just leave with flowers. You leave with a skill, a sense of accomplishment, and a creative experience that you genuinely could not have had anywhere else.

Why Group Floral Workshops Work

Flower arranging is one of those rare activities that manages to be simultaneously relaxing and engaging, social and personal, structured and creative. It gives people something to do with their hands while conversation flows naturally. It produces a beautiful, tangible result that goes home with every guest. And it creates a shared memory that people talk about long after the event is over.

Flower Bar Co. offers private floral workshops throughout Utah for groups of all sizes and a wide range of occasions. A private flower arranging class is a creative, hands-on alternative to the standard corporate event, perfect for team building, employee appreciation, company retreats, and workplace wellness initiatives across Salt Lake City, Provo, Park City, and the Heber Valley. For women's retreats and wellness gatherings, a floral workshop adds a meaningful, sensory experience that complements any program built around rest, creativity, and connection. We also work with country clubs and membership organizations looking for an elegant, crowd-favorite addition to their event calendar, as well as sorority chapters, bridal showers, and girls' nights where people want to leave with more than just a good time.

Private workshops can be held at our Midway or Vineyard, Utah locations, or we can bring the full experience to you. We set a seasonal bloom bar, provide all materials including vases, chicken wire supports, snips, and hands-on instruction, and guide your group through the arranging process from start to finish. All skill levels are welcome, and no experience is necessary. Groups leave with their finished arrangements, a new skill, and a shared creative experience that goes well beyond the blooms.

If you are looking for a unique and genuinely memorable event experience in Utah, we would love to bring a Flower Bar Co. workshop to your group. Visit our Classes page at flowerbarco.co or reach out through our contact page to begin planning.
